Toyota Corona 1997 Review

We are all vehicle enthusiasts. Some of us are obsessed with vintage automobiles – those of us who enjoy and cherish old cars. So, we decided to talk about a vehicle that matched the ‘old’ description. The Toyota Corona is the car, and is produced by Toyota, the Japanese automobile manufacturer. There were eleven generations of this Toyota Corona from 1957 to 2001. So, among those generations, CarsGuide is examining the Toyota Corona, which belongs to the 11th generation and was manufactured in 1997.

Exterior Design

In the front, there are two windshield wipers and two windshield washers and fog lamps.

We can see body-coloured side mirrors and door handles on the side. The front wheels use ventilated disk brakes, while the rear wheels use leading trailing drum brakes. It has a length of 4600 mm.

When it comes to the back of the vehicle, the windshield features defoggers. The windshield wiper, however, is not available. The Toyota symbol is visible in the center of the tailgate. An antenna is installed on the roof.

Because the Toyota Corona is a sedan, its average ground clearance should be 165 mm. However, the ground clearance of this vehicle is 145 mm, as specified by the manufacturers.

When it comes to the boot, the Toyota Corona has a capacity of 490 liters. In comparison to other cars of previous generations, this is a fairly large boot space.

Interior Design

Let’s start with the driver’s cabin while discussing the inside of the Toyota Corona. In the driver’s compartment there are two fabric sets. These do not have power adjustments. There is plenty of leg and headroom. A steering wheel that can be adjusted has been provided. On the passenger side, there is a decent glove compartment. There are no vanity mirrors. Furthermore, air purifiers and automatic air conditioning are not available.
The passenger compartment has three fabric seats. The middle seat is not suitable for use as an armrest. And no cup holders are visible. There is often plenty of headroom.

However, there is insufficient legroom. In most cases, two passengers can travel comfortably. However, if there are three people, the middle passenger may feel uneasy. Because there is a tiny hump in the floor.

Performance

The Toyota Corona is powered by a 1500 cc four-cylinder engine. This engine can produce 145 horsepower. In addition, the torque is 196 Nm.

This vehicle’s engine is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. This Toyota Corona appears to be a front-wheel-drive vehicle.The fuel consumption is 18 km/liter. Actually, this is a vehicle with an extremely low fuel usage. It has a fuel tank capacity of 60 liters and can travel for 1080 kilometers.

Ride Quality

The Corona has a three-star safety rating as a result of these factors.
